The world of Veil is an absorbing place – we can tell, we can see just how long you’re spending in the game. But just where do you find yourself in the real world when you’re busy going about rescuing this virtual one?
Perhaps it’s on the bus on the way to and from school. Or maybe it’s for when your significant other is watching one of their favourite TV shows – perhaps one you might not be so fond of yourself – letting you carry on questing while they catch up with the latest instalment.
Personally speaking, I do most of my looting-and-levelling on the morning and evening commute. Train delays simply don’t bother me when it gives me additional time to clear a dungeon or complete a quest. I did have to invest in some headphones though, as the clang of sword on armour and a few of my Alchitect’s catchphrases (“I’m drained!”) were raising a few eyebrows.
